Scope of Work
At LPG Import Terminal, Haldia, Intrinsically Safe (IS) VHF handsets are required for effective communication during emergency response, routine operations, and ship unloading activities. 2. Currently, only a limited number of IS VHF handsets are available at the terminal, which may not be adequate to meet the communication requirements during simultaneous operations and emergency situations. 3. Provision of additional Intrinsically Safe (IS) VHF handsets will ensure safe and reliable communication in hazardous areas without creating a potential ignition source. Adequate availability will facilitate coordination during emergency response, firefighting, maintenance, routine, and ship unloading activities. 4. Considering the hazardous nature of LPG operations, procurement of additional IS VHF handsets is essential for enhancing operational safety, emergency preparedness, and coordination at the terminal. 5.
